Please note the following theory about the "គ" in គ្មាន. Its only a theory.

In Pre Angkorian times the Khmer people sai "kamma" for the word កុំ and "mana" for មាន. If you put the words together from ancient times. Kam man. Move it forward to Khmer times and you get គ្មាន.
