ទំព័រគំរូ:IPAchar/doc

This template is used to format IPA characters. It is usually used in other templates, chiefly {{IPA}} but can occasionally be used on its own. It takes one mandatory unnamed parameter, the pronunciation written in IPA characters.

Example

From {{fr-conj-ger}}

(to indicate that the {{term||-g-}} is a “soft” {{IPAchar|/ʒ/}} and not a “hard” {{IPAchar|/ɡ/}})

gives:

(to indicate that the is a “soft” /ʒ/ and not a “hard” /ɡ/)
