Usage[កែប្រែ]
This template is not intended to be called directly from entries; rather, it is to be called using {{etyl}}. Therefore, in etymologies of English words that come (directly or indirectly) from Slavic:
{{etyl|sla}}
which produces
and adds the entry to Category:Slavic languages derivations.
In etymologies of non-English words, add the appropriate language code as a second parameter — for example, {{etyl|sla|fr}} for a word in បារាំង — to add the entry to the appropriate category (in this case Category:fr:Slavic languages derivations).
Alternatively, if the entry should not be added to any category — for example, if the Slavic word is mentioned only as a cognate, not as an actual etymon — use {{etyl|sla|-}}, with a hyphen as the second parameter.
