This template is designed for all Latin interjections.

Usage

This template should be placed in all Latin interjection sections, immediately following the ===Interjection=== section header. It provides the inflection line for the entry. The template also automatically categorizes the entry in Category:Latin interjections.

Parameters

For all interjections, this template takes one parameter. The parameter is not required, and may be omitted.

{{{1}}} = word with macrons

When present, 1 is the entry word with all macrons present. When this parameter is absent, the PAGENAME will be used for display by the template.

Examples:

• vae (no argument, since the word contains no macrons)

  {{la-interj}}

• iō (argument 1, since the word contains macrons)

  {{la-interj|iō}}

• salvē (argument 1, since the word contains macrons)

  {{la-interj|salvē}}
