This template generates a headword line and categorizes [[:Category: prefixes| prefix]] entries.

Usage

This template should be added to all prefix entries.

The template should be placed within the language section, immediately following the Prefix L3 header.

As with other Wiktionary headword line templates, please do not use subst:.

Parameters

1: Optional part of speech prefixed. If a value is chosen, the set of categories will be modified accordingly.

2: The optional text to be sorted in categories.

3: Optional alternative headword. If empty or omitted, the page name will appear as headword.
