Usage[កែប្រែ]

This is the most general of the “form of” templates. It can be used to apply the correct styling of the definition line, based on each user’s monobook.css file, to any description as the first parameter.

{{form of|alternative form|word}}
Lua error in Module:form_of/templates at line 200: Please enter a language code in the first parameter. The value "alternative form" is not valid..
{{form of|alternative form|word link|link name}}

Use this template for forms that don't fit the mold, for instance, the zeroeth-person plural subjunctive of a highly unusual word.

If the alternative form is alternative spelling then use {{alternative spelling of}} instead.

If the alternative form is common misspelling then use {{misspelling of}} instead.

If the alternative form is comparative form then use {{comparative of}} instead.

If the alternative form is past then use {{past of}} instead.

If the alternative form is past participle then use {{past participle of}} instead.

If the alternative form is plural form then use {{plural of}} instead.

If the alternative form is present participle then use {{present participle of}} instead.

If the alternative form is third-person singular single present form then use {{third-person singular of}} instead.

Additional templates can be found at Category:Form of templates. Otherwise create and use a convenient new template based on any of the others.

Parameter lang= (language code).

Parameter nodot= places a period at the end of the template output if the parameter is blank

(This is akin to {{t}} etc, but the alt= equivalent is just the 3rd parameter here)
