This template generates a link to its first parameter if it does not already have wiki markup. If the lang= parameter is given, the link will go directly to the language section if the first parameter doesn't include wiki markup, and will also add a script using {{Xyzy}} is a script is not otherwise specified using the sc= parameter.

Parameters

• {{{1}}} : The page name to be linked
• {{{2}}} : Alternate text to be displayed for links.
• {{{lang}}} : The ISO code of the desired target link (defaults to en).
• {{{sc}}} : The ISO code of the desired script.
